Per 1953 Dolgoprudnyj became the regional centre, in 1957 has received the status of a city of regional submission. In 1963 Долгопрудный has been carried to a category of cities of regional submission (villages Gnilushi are switched on in city line, Kotovo, Shapovo and Lihatchevo).
